WATCH: Man Crashes Car Into Pro-Trump Store, Police Release Statement on Alleged Attack

You might not necessarily think that there would be a lot of pro-Trump merchandise stores in New England, which generally tends to go blue in presidential elections. But there are actually about seven locations selling Trump gear in New England, so there must be a lot of pro-Trump sentiment.

New England for Trump, one of the stores in Easton, Massachusetts, had a surprise visitor at about 5 p.m. on Thursday that the store probably didn’t anticipate: a speeding car that drove right through their front window, crashing inside the store, and sending racks of clothing throughout the store.

There was one man in the store at the time–that’s the man you can see on the video–who was an employee. He, fortunately, was not injured. The driver in the car was injured. He was taken to the hospital, but didn’t have life-threatening injuries. The store owner said it could have been worse.

“Just before he did that, there was a little boy with his mother shopping right in that spot,” said Keith Lambert, the store’s owner. “The clerk was about to go to the bathroom and he would’ve gotten hit.”

“Thank God nobody got hurt, that’s all I can say,” Lambert also said.

The family who runs the store said that this wasn’t going to stop them, that although they have to clean up the store, they’re going to be selling from a truck in front of the store whatever people might want to buy. They sell hats, shirts and all kinds of other items. Here’s their website.

If you’re wondering whether this was an accident or something that was done on purpose, the police surely seem to think it was done intentionally. The 46-year-old driver has been charged with “reckless operation of a motor vehicle and malicious destruction of property.” The police said that more charges might follow.

On top of the charge, the driver had both an anti-Trump sticker and what looks like an anarchy sticker on the back of the car. The Trump sticker depicted Trump with a Hitler mustache and the words, “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” This is from a guy who may have driven a car crashing into a store, and it’s only by the grace of God people weren’t killed.

Will we see Democrats leaping up to condem this anti-Trump violence against innocent people? And I’m willing to bet you’re not going to see it on the national media, except maybe for Fox and some conservative sites.
